Mixed problems of the theory of elasticity for the infinite layer. N.D. Weisfeld, G.O. Fesenko

The monograph explores the development of a new method for solving spatial problems of the theory of elasticity, based on the transformation of the system of Lamex equations to two mutually compatible and one separately solvable equations with respect to new unknown functions associated with displacements. The new approach is applied to the construction of analytic solutions of spatial boundary value problems for a semi-infinite elastic layer, on which the external and internal loads of different nature operate.
