This book is about the history of the mass migration of Germans in the 18th – 19th centuries from the scattered and poor lands of Germany to the fertile uninhabited lands of the Russian Empire; about their active participation in the development of the North-Western Black Sea region - the lands of the Gofnungstal (Tsebrikov) volost of the Tiraspol district of the Kherson province, which are now part of the Razdelnyansky, Berezovsky and other regions of the Odessa region. A key place is given to the history of the German settlement of Neu-Berlin.
The book is recommended and will be useful to the citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, primarily the descendants of the “Ukrainian” and “Russian” Germans-immigrants, as well as to all those who are interested in the history of the development of free Black Sea lands by the Germans-immigrants in the XVIII-XIX centuries.
