The morphological and biological features of the main edible and medicinal mushrooms are systematized. The characteristics of the most common strains of fungi grown in Ukraine and the world are highlighted. Technologies for growing two-spore mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, shiitake, winter honeysuckle and lacquered codling moth are presented.
