The monograph presents an attempt to comprehend the performative practices of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. The first and second chapters of the book analyze the general processes that determine the culturological and literary functioning of performative strategies. The following sections are devoted to the direct analysis of the manifestations of performativity in various arts based on the observations of the authors of the phenomena of Ukrainian, Polish and Russian cultures in a broad civilizational context.
