The reprint of the textbook is devoted to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Abbi Efimovich Glauberman. In this way, the physical community testifies to its respect and memory of the outstanding scientist and educator. A. Yu. Glauberman was a wonderful lecturer who was able to instill a love of knowledge, a fascination with physics. His scientific style was based on deep penetration into the physical nature of the problems studied and a clear understanding of the tasks. Lectures on the course of quantum mechanics, which the scientist read in the 1950-1960s, were distinguished by an artistic atmosphere, often acquired a controversial character. On the basis of these lectures, he prepared a textbook that was published by the publishing house of the Lviv University in 1962.
The book is devoted to the systematic presentation of the foundations of quantum mechanics and can be useful not only for students of physical and physical-mathematical faculties, but also for a wider range of readers.
